negative healings - wtf? (#2355)

Hey there,
we were about to suicide on crimthain-guards, when I got the msg that the pala of our grp healed me for negative HP: removed link, as there's been a lot of ppl stating that they had the same issue...  ...cant add attachments in this secion  any ideas what happened? was it a bug? if yes: known?  I cant tell whether i really lost some life when i was negatively healed, but I dont think so, as I was the last in grp to live and I had full health then Last edited by Jezzmin on May 06, 2011 10:11, edited 1 time in total.

When my grp sui at a tk and melodys is up, i usually heal for neagtive values, dunno why

from the paly? pala heal chants dont heal for so much and clerics used grp heal to get agro (and die first )...dunno what it was, but as long as its just a display bug, everything's fine |

I doubt its a display bug. It propably caused damage if it prints negative heal values.

if that was the case my cleric on liveserver would have killed himself, he did a negative 1 billion heal one time.
Its just dsplay bug it does nothing at all.. it has something to do with constitution buffs i think. Greetings |

yap, that might be...we all cided, so maybe clerics died and my con-buffs we lowered - maybe if at the same time pala-heal ticks, the pala "gets blamed" for the conloss along with his healing |

Thats an integer overflow. Thats a different story. Not in this case. You see that it is some hundreds value heal and sign is negative so its for sure some miscalculation. I'm not sure about the circumstances. If it happens again tell me what you have done before. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

blue, the said cleric did negative heals in the range of 10-1billion without it taking any effect, also my pala and cleric on uth have had negative heal values without any impact on the actual health of the target.

Did you read what I wrote about the overflow? Overflows are display bugs. Same happens with large prices on market explorers. On Uth when it writes -xxx it DOES -xxx. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

This is a serious problem then - it happens to my paladin rather frequently. I have not determined how to repeat it, other than perhaps a lot of 'burst' damage and heals all at once (I was thinking perhaps being healed to full after my heal had already been calculated but not yet printed to client) |

then you should have a look at minstrel absorb too since it results in enemy dealing -1 damage sometimes.

I remember a Screen from Inotor at the topic "Show your highest Crit" where he heals negative too. But I'm pretty sure that this has no negative healingeffect on the grpmembers
