Uhm...
I played with a crappy computer for a long time and had no crashing issues in special zones except for overheating problems - which you dont have I suppose - since you can move everywhere else.


Ok how to patch:
If you connect via Daocportal:
1. put the patches in a "MODS" folder in the Daocportalfolder, if its not there create this folder
2. start daocportal
3. go to file -> settings and give the correct folder of your daocinstallation (mostly its c:\programms\electronic arts\dark age of camelot\.... or only c:\electronic arts - well whatever XD)
4. go to client -> mod manager in daoc portal and check all patches - then click patch and it should be done

Annother reason for you cannot enter the maincity & df could be an issue with graphiccard - check if you got the latest driver version for your card.
