When I go linkdead, it *always* stops at hop 8, which is PAIX-NYC.init7.net. Went to init7.net's website and found this:

Many of the users reporting problems are from Canada, as am I, and I think this router belonging to init7 is our hop across the atlantic. I suspect when this is fixed the ld's might stop.

Cool - maybe an end in sight?

After 2+ weeks of brutal latency and constant LD's, today I was perfectly fine.

Didn't LD once in 4 hours and had little to no latency.

New tracrt shows several new hops leading up to the hetzner servers.

Hope it lasts. Was damn nice ro plan and not fear an LD!
