Arent they supposed to have a huge variance? Because on Uthgard thats not the case I get 55 to 60 damage from a non poison spec char all tht time.

Spec poisons only gives you acces to better poisons. I think lifebane will do ever the same damage if you spec poisons or not. Its like dot proc.

It is a base spell so it should have variance.

Well 55-60 is 9% variance. Or should be higher?

Variance is random like every magic spell with zero spec. I have a SM here and he had zero points in darkness for a long time and my nukes were gimp like 50 and 150 on the same target possible.

when you hit someone with the weapon and the venom fires, a check should be made against your envenom skill for variance.

this is why if you run viper3 it should be beneficial to actually run 51 envenom in your template instead of swapping items to poison.

Bump. Stealth on horse got fixed really fast. Now some players abuse that poison bug really often

The best thing would be that poison on weapons fades when the poisoner has logged out. Some players abusing that feature to gain more than 50% damage with an already strong class.

this will hurt assassins though because they would have to repoison every time they log on due to loss of poisons when logging out..

No, only poisoned weapons for non assassins should fade but not their own. But this one should be fixed in the same way as the stealth on horse route in my opinion.
