Is changing graphic appearance of items possible?

Hello I am some what new to the server and I have noticed what seem to be impossible items which people are holding I have seen druids with med to large shields and I even think I saw a warden with Shield of Khaos which shouldn't be possible on this server. Is there some way to change the appearance of your items on this server or are these just my computer's mistakes? thank you.

The medium shields might be due to speciel items with speciel skins from tajendi or a few items that have medium skin even while being small shield..

also the shield of khaos and other TOA skins are from reskin scrolls given at events
