No RvR kill rewards during Relic Defense

I didn't post this in Bug Reports because I'm not sure exactly what is causing this problem. When defending the Relic Keep I've noticed that the defending players often receive no credit when killing an enemy player.

They receive no RPs, BPs, gold or XP.

This is not because the enemy player has been killed recently. I checked that. No reward message of any kind is generated, and this includes the "[player] has been killed recently and is worth nothing" message.

The death spam is still generated ("X was killed by Y in Z"), but no reward is given.

This is a frustrating bug because it means that the RP reward for Relic Defense is often nothing. The Hibs attacked the Mid relic this morning, and after the Hibs were wiped I checked the reward spam. I found that I had received only a tiny amount of RPs for two kills even though my group had gotten deathblows on almost a dozen hib players and I solo-killed 3 hibs myself.

This is not the first time I have noticed this bug.

Can a member of the staff check on this?

Was it cause the enemies were attacked by guards? O_o

Why shouldn't you receive a kill reward if your enemy has been attacked by a guard? That means you will get almost nothing for defending a Relic Keep because the guard spam is so intense. This is especially unfair for defenders when you consider how long relic sieges last and how difficult it can be to repel the attackers.

I killed enemies that didn't appear to have a guard on them and still got nothing.

If a PvE mob or Guard, has already damaged the target you will only get the Rps on the damage you given...

Say you only do 10% of the targets Final Health, then you should only get 10% of the Maxuim Rps that char would have givin... then spilt that by 8 people in group: Crap. lol

sorry the reward In Defending a Relic keep shouldnt be focused on the RPS you may or may not get but Keeping the Relics ^^

aye in the past i was ****** for killing some one and he was attacking a Keep guard thought i did easly 80% ddamage but then only getting 300 Rps for a RR4 Pali ^^

but then i put 2 and 2 together the guard did damage already and it would be spilt accordenly ^^

Salidor, with this bug you get 0 RPs for killing your target even if you do 100% of the damage.

It's not that you receive a reduced award. You receive no reward at all.

This indeed sucks. When you hit someone close to a relic keep down to 10%, he runs to the relic guards and wipes on them and you don't get any RPs for your hard fight which you would have won after all...

Some players just don't have anything of glory.

For Purple Guards Players are grey so when they hit the player he is worth nothing. Same with lvl 50 players hitting grey mobs which are then killed by lower Players.
