Can I install DAOC off my 5th anniversary edition instead?

Do I need to download the entire 3.6gig file that the ever so rude Nixian linked to his forum post or can i just install my game off my dvd and connect to Uthgard threw the portal?

It's a real symple question for MR MODERATOR.

I'm in the correct forum now right?

ur version work also, u should have si at least and daoc portal to runn the game

Thanks England now any chance do you know the steps I take linking portal to my doac files and finally get to pay Uthgard?

every time i've tried it says my version in now current my disc installs up to 1.85 do i need to get a pacth from 1.85 to current to play on Uthgard?

Thanks in advance for any help I recieve on this matter.

yes,you need to patch up to match the servers requirements. dont wonder if it needs to patch quite a lot, many changes have been made.
