A fellow Ranger has been talking to me and has been repeatly getting a bug where she would use volley on someone, do dmg, but that enemy isnt fight her or just runs by. Then she stealths up, and havent done any other dmg then from the volley, soon after the player dies and she isnt rewarded any RP. She also said this happens many times, but if she doesnt stealth up before the enemy dies, she does gain the RP. I personaly havent seen this bug , as i havent gone out in RvR that much lately, no personal reason, just dont feel like it right now. But anyway it sounded like it has something to do with how volley dmges a target and how that dmg not giving you credit or something with stealth, it kinda doesnt make sense to me how its happening. So i ask, any other archers out there see simular behaver with volley or any archery attacks. What happens is when the enemy dies and you have done dmg and they havent moved too far way, havent healed, and dies soon after dmg, but you have stealthed before they died and when they do, in the chat log it says someone killed the enemy, but no gain in RP and not even a messege on any kind, no messages like they died recently and are not worth RP, it just gives no message. Of what she has told me.

I asked her to keep chat logging running when she plays and give me the logs when she can, so a bug report can be made, if its a bug. And if anyone else gets such bug, please let me know in this thread.

This is a discussion about this bug. Not for trolling agenst archers, or asking for volley to be stronger, this is about this bug and anything off topic should be removed by the staff, or i hope they will do so.
