Ive been wondering if my current spec of 39 Pierc and 42 PF (7.3 Damage Add) is better or worse then 34 pierc and 46 PF (9.4 Damage Add). I tested this on live and it turned out i lose about +2 style dmg vs the test dummy and gain +5 DA dmg with a 2.7 spd weapon. So im wondering if the dmg add makes up for the lower Pierc spec, since i use pierc styles. I do gain and lose with both specs.

46 PF

Gain little extra dmg on bow shots

So anyone have any suggestions, i want to keep a min of 42 PF, 33 stealth, 35 bow, 34 pierc and 18 CD. So please dont suggests specs with huge changes like specing out of bow or stealth or what ever.

Seems like 46 PF gives you more over-all. +5 DA for both weapons? That's 10 extra damage a swing.

well +5 from the DA was with a 2.7 spd weapon, so with my 3.9 main hand it will be like 7-8 extra dmg and like 6 extra dmg with my 3.3 offhand when it stricks. It helps alot more with offhand since lost of style dmg doesnt effect offhand, but extra DA dmg effects offhand. So i think ill try out this respec. Now to farm the cash, also thinking of a RA respec, so need 3 plat. Wish they didnt nerf those bog frogs lol.

Umm what, i never said i was the best ranger on the server. Just because this is the class i play and discuss, doesnt mean i think im the best lol. Anyone that considers themself the best at any class, most likly doesnt even come close. And to be a good player of any class, one allwes has to consider other peoples suggestions and build on that. And one that has one purpose to flame, has no real reason to be posting in here or anywhere. BYE!

Now on the topic, i made the respec to see how it would work out and so far it looks like ive lost about 5 style dmg and gained 8 dmg from my DA. So i think this spec may work out better. I did lose my fallow up style to my side positional, but there isnt much special about the style and i can allwes just use the rear style + fallow up instead. I did go from 1148 WS to 1113 WS, but i dont think that will really effect game play much at all.

jokes aside, I agree your new spec is better.
