i've been having crazy lagspikes for the last 3 hours. they're server side because i never have problems with lag, unless it's like 4 fgs on inc, with lag until now, and now im just following noobs around, giving them buffs.

which i dont really have a problem with, i think it's good to "give back" :p

oh and as far as doing a tracert.exe, it doesn't work, when i put it into the Run box, it closes within secs (WTF?)

try this

run --> cmd --> tracert uthgard.game-server.cc

there is nothing called tracert.exe

upload it to a hosting site like wegame.com or http://imageshack.us/

and simply copy the url for the image in with the img clamps around it

if it doesn't, maybe this could, the lag is just spikes, on and off, spikes of about 3 secs, 30 secs later, it does it again.

as many others ur problem lies in being routed through a telia server.. which has been known to give wierd lag spikes at some times

is there a proxy server that is know to be able to avoid Telia routing? Im also getting horrid response times from tinet, which im assuming is another of telianets domains?

I had a first experience in all of my 6+ years of daoc, I played Powerpoint RvR last night. Didnt land a single from stealth move because the 4 seconds it took to get to the game server. I just mashed hamstring and garrote and prayed. I somehow got a solo kill and Im not sure how, unless he was also playing Powerpoint RvR.

There has to be a way to avoid being routed through this field of dogcrap that telia calls a network.

I have same kind of problem that you for tinet.
Any solution would be appreciated if someone knows one ^^
