I happen to own a US version of the game. After looking at the tutorial for setting up access to the server I became confused. Could I change my US version to EU version to be able to play? Or would i need to buy a new copy of the game.

just patch the game through daoc portal go to file > setting select eu and language and select patch. be sure to set your daoc path.
