Hi. I currently play on a lcd flat screen computer monitor that has its brightness set to the highest setting, and for some reason night time in this game makes it almost impossible for me to see things at times. Is there any possible way to raise the gamma or brightness of the client at night so it is a bit more visble? Yes I know this is a noob question, but I know more than a few people who also struggle with visibility in nightime on this game - with or without torch on. Any suggestions beyond adjusting monitor brightness (already done and didnt work)

No, you arent supposed to see anything at night, so you either put on the ingame torch "T", or lean to at night^^

I do use in game torch. It doesnt illuminate the whole screen, just whatever is on me... or really close... and the night here is way darker than on classic.

Maybe you can try to adjust brightness from windows instead of your monitor?

Afaik you can't do it ingame.

If you have an ATI graphics card you can do it via the Catalyst Control Center, I'm sure Nvidia also has a similar option.

And try to raise just gamma, not brightness on your monitor also.

P.S. Only newbs use the torch ^^
