Im making this thread for everyone that has a style effect correction, to have a place to submit them. Many style effect currections get delayed or ignored because many many classes do not have the currections also. So we all can start looking up correct values for things like Attack Speed Debuff effects, since mostly all on uthgard are set to 7%, while they should be much higher/lower. Same goes with other effects like hinders or stuns or what ever with incurrect values.
Now you will have to find valid proof, that can not be desputed. Example of that would be for those who claim ice storm shouldnt have a stun effect for rangers and nightshade. One could find the patch note that claims this, but it would be desputed, because it was never declared to give it to rangers and NS, but its on live and people have found proof from past posts from live discussions claiming it was on live back then at the same time it was added for BM, and mythic never declared it was added, when it was. So make sure your submits have enough proof to support them. I also suggest adding a new topic, when you find a new submit you want to do, dont re-edit your old ones, or else devs may not go back and see your new additons. Ill get the thread started with a few. Be detailed also and provide proof and dont make a post without a submit. Dont need tons of offtopics. Also since the server maybe possibly going to 1.65, please find proof that is dated back then, if you cant find something that old, at least get as old of proof as you can, it will be up to the staff to decide if its valid or not. Also google is very useful for searching, and VN boards are also useful to search for proof. Good Luck. |

HIB = Blade Style = Spectrum Blade (ASD value Incurrect)
____________________________________________ ASD value on uthgard is 7%, should be 30% Proof - Grab Bag from live <2008-05-16><Last Question on page> http://www.camelotherald.com/news/news_ ... oryid=3557 Q. What's the value of the slow effect on the Level 39 Blades style "Spectrum Blade"? It's not listed on the Style Library. A. After a quick check to be sure, The Balancinator answers short but sweet: It is a 30% slow. Happy hunting! - More Evidence to prove the debuff was 30%, more patches ago. <11th March 2006><Patch 1.83><reply #14> http://forums.freddyshouse.com/glastonb ... ngers.html spectrum blade is not 30 sec duration, all asd's are 20 sec, but its 30% value. - More Evidence to prove the debuff was 30%, more patches ago. <19, June 2003><Patch 1.64> <reply #7> http://forums.sleepykitten.org/index.ph ... 86.msg2900 ALB = Thrust Style = BasiliskFang (ASD value incurrect) ___________________________________________________ ASD value on Uthgard is 7% should be 34%. Proof http://vnboards.ign.com/albion_rogue_pr ... 702995/p1/ - Reply #8 claims it is a 34% ASD, not 20% as someone said above him. http://vnboards.ign.com/albion_rogue_pr ... 451608/p2/ - Reply #11 claims its also 34% ASD, unless it was changed in 1.92, which i checked and wasnt changed in 1.92 or 1.91 or later. I had not found any changes to the effect on this style, in any patch between 1.8x to current, so i believe this style debuff value hasnt changed, and that is what the value should be. MID = Axe Style = Pillager ( ASD incurrect value ) _________________________________________________ ASD value on uthgard is 7% should be 21%. Proof http://www.camelotherald.com/article.php?id=410 - An over look of the 1.92 changes, shows that Pillager is a 21% slowed effect. Which wasnt changed to to in ether 1.92 or 1.91 or earlier patches, mythic claims it is this value and i havent seen a patch that claims it had been changed to this at anytime between 1.8x to current. So youd have to assume this is an untouched effected at or before 1.8. http://vnboards.ign.com/midgard_rogue_p ... /103757534 - 6th reply claims that pillager is a 21% asd also. " Also, a full Shadowzerker still has Garrote for anytime snare AND a 21% ANYTIME ASR debuff via Pillager from the Axe line AND the Shadowzerker also retains Pincer for the abs debuff with much higher side stun DPS. " If you have your own submits, please do so in same mannor. |

Yep, and if you or anyone else has anything to contribute, it would help the server alot. I will not waste my time looking, if others will not help also, since i know none of my work will be considered if we do not get more style fixes for all 3 realms. And im talking about effects, not missing styles, not growth rates, or anything else , because those will not help these effect fixes.
So get on google or where ever, and pick a style you want to find proof on for currect effect values and post them here. I will prob get 1 for each realm again. |

Actualy on this discussion of Attack speed debuffs on styles, is going to be a hard one to find currect values for. We can prob find a few, but it will be a very few and maybe not enough to be worth fixing. So looking around, ive noticed most if not all style ASD values are much higher then 7%, which makes the values on uthgard de-value the styles. But i have noticed, the high the level the style is, the higher the debuff value is for ASD, with some exceptions. So i think uthgard should really consider a ASD value scale, that scales according to lvl of the style and maybe also consider a bonus when the debuff is on a style that isnt a anytime and is a fallow up , positional or reactionary, since they are harder to pull off. According to the Hareld, on current live , the scale seems to be this, according to the fallowing data.
__________________________________________________________ Pierc ______________________ 18 - sidewinder - fallowup - 21% slow 29 - Vipers bite - fallowup - 26% slow 50 - wyverns bite - fallowup - 34% slow Blade ______________________ 25 - Kinetic blade - reactionary - 26% slow 39 - Spectrum Blade - fallowup - 30% slow Celtic Dual ______________________ 8 - Snow shower - Frontal - 16% slow 12 - Blizzard - fallowup - 21% slow 50 - Hurricane - fallowup - 34% slow Blunt ______________________ 15 - Windfall - Reactionary - 22% slow Celtic Spear ______________________ 6 - Hunter's boon - behind - 16% slow 18 - Javelin - Side - 21% slow 39 - Wyvern Talon - fallowup - 26% slow Thrust ______________________ 4 - Ratfang - Reactionary - 16% slow 15 - Beartooth - Reactionary - 19% slow 44 - Wyvernfang - fallowup - 30% slow Slash ______________________ 4 - Cross slash - Frontal - 16% slow 18 - Riposte - Reactionary - 21% slow 50 - Diamond slash - fallowup - 34% slow two handed ______________________ 4 - Double Back - Frontal - 16% slow 12 - Bone Cruiser - Anytime - 18% slow 25 - Recenter - Fallowup - 26% slow Axe ______________________ 21 - Valkyries shield - reactionary - 22% slow 50 - Tyr's fury - fallowup - 30% slow Hammer ______________________ 4 - Crushing blow - Reactionary - 16% slow 21 - Revenge - reactionary - 21% slow 25 - Crumble - Fallowup - 26% slow 39 - Lambast - Reactionary - 30% slow 2 - 4 - 16% 6 - 16% 8 - 16% 10 - 12 - 18% , 21% 15 - 19% , 22% 18 - 21% 21 - 21% , 22% 25 - 26% 29 - 26% 34 - 39 - 26% , 30% 44 - 30% 50 - 30% , 34% This is what im kinda seeing, with some exceptions 2 to 10 = 16% value 12 to 21 = 21% value 25 to 29 = 26% value 34 to 39 = 30% value 44 to 50 = 34% value or something like that, i would recommend on uthgard, with a minor bonus to reactionarys/fallow ups from reactionarys and fallowup style of a frontal or anytime style fallow because these styles can be pulled off face to face. And a higher then minor bonus to positional and fallowup styles of positionals , since they are harder to pull off during a face to face fight. No bonus on anytime styles with these debuffs because they are easyer to pull off, then trying for a positional, a fallowup or a reactionary. But that is just my idea's to get something better then uthgards 7% value situation. Im just giving some ideas, if uthgard would decide on doing something like this, its best for them to choose what scale and ideas to go with, im just getting the thinking process started. |
