Hi,
I'm new to DAOC, just few weeks. So question is how do I understand grids (coordinates)? Reading about some Mobs, i've found that they location is written in numbers. How do I see im at the place, described by numbers? Ty |

To see your current location in x,y coordinates type /loc. An easy way to find out where mobs at location x,y are type /faceloc xxxxx, xxxxx For example if Unholy Gorge Dweller is found at 35621,17281 in Breifine, just type /faceloc 35000, 17000 and you'll face the spot. |

Roughly coordinates are made like this for every map:
For your current exact location type "/loc" To face to a certain location type "/faceloc X Y" (example: /faceloc 15000 30000) |

when you open a map, with shift+M you see one, right?
Imagine, top left corner is 0 0. bottom right corner is 60.000 60.000. Just dont get confused with those big numbers, its just same old easy karthesian coordinates system, like one learns at school The third number is the hight position, which is, in most cases(beside df and some other dungeons) of no importance. |
