I copied my entire daoc lab folder and installed the camelot.exe off the euro site into that directory, it patched and updated 130ish meg file and both before and after the patch the daocportal does not recognise the copied folder as a valid install and yet it's an exact replica of the exsisting directory which runs US live 1.99 etc


any suggestions?

the camelot.exe does nothing.. you need to copy /change the text inside the update.dat to the eu-version. theres something in the tutorial-section about that imho. so you get the 1.95 version.
plus.try to reinstall daocportal inside the daoc-folder. (not daoc/daocportal, just only /daoc). then you can get to the install with just adding a dot ( . ) inside the window where it asks for your installation. should work then. and check " check all files" on patching with the camelot.exe

I went to the link and downloaded the file, I ran it from inside the copied folder it updated and downloaded about 130 megs of stuff and then I tried to use the folder as the destination for camelot and nothing works with portal ill try running it from in the folder see if that works
