I just recently hit level 20 and had been playing as a matter cabby, someone advised me to try out spirit spec since apparently it was pretty powerful on live. So when I got my level 20 respec i decided to give it a shot, needless to say its completely broken and is useless to spec past 3 in it.

Problems:
No hp bonus to pet for speccing into it
Little to no benefit from buffs
TERRIBLE damage (4-8 damage, same damage output as other specs)

I'm not a cabby pro, infact this is probably one of the only classes i never got around to playing on live, but this can not be intended as it is literally unplayable without a spec dd or dot.

If i can get a respec id appreciate it.

Afaik only dmgadd and dmgshield buffs work on Pets in Uthgard. (at least for the controlled ones)

some buffs are raising the pets absorb..con, S/C, dex and D/Q, AF, spec AF,
but all buffs seems to benefit the pets AF only if they raise the attributes more than 120, and thats not as intended because this makes all buffs below red worthless for the pet.

damage add works propper
so does pet-haste
and damage shield aswell

but the real reason to spec spirit is the resistence debuff for body.
you get them with 22, 33 and 46 in the spirit line
additional you get a nice AE snare with 23, 30, 38, 48
