Is there a way to get the old classic stuff back?

Stuff like this is what I'm looking for:



Also, is there a way to get, for example, the old DF Rocots?

Sorry if this doesn't work, but it should This only addresses the ICONS, not the ui mask. I'll check that out, but maybe somebody who knows will post about it in the meantime.



-Go to the icons folder of the daoc directory, and find the wpns1_b image. Open it in paint (or an image editor of your choice). Back up the icons folder.

-Open the icons that you would like to use instead.

-Copy and paste from the old sheet, onto the new sheet.

-Save file.

-Play with edited icons

-If it fails, simply put the backup icons folder back in place. Shouldn't have a problem, as long as you don't edit the filename/filetype.

I tried replacing the files in /icons, I also tried adding the wpns1_b to the /ui/custom, just like with the old spellicons, but nothing happens.

You might try to use BobsUI - DaoC Custom User Interface.

After install you will have an option chooser, where you can choose various skins. With this you will be able to get the old classic UI skin back, or at least most of it.

simply download that UI. you can customize pretty much everything.

Well the BobsUI classic skin only has that, the "skin", not the actual look.
Might try it out, though.

im looking for the same (either old monster designs).

I have all the old files, both models and UI files from and old DAoC CD.
But... I've tried putting the files everywhere and nothing seems to work, any ideas?

Well, those are only the old spell/style icons, not the weapon/armor icons for the inventory.

Closest u can get afaik is BoBs UI.. I'm using it and I'm satisfied, it's not exactly the same, but it comes close enough imo. I even have a healer's helper in the classic theme!

Aw, okay, classic healer's helper sounds interesting.

But... it's so simple to change the spell icons, simply copy-paste the old ones into the ui/custom folder, there has to be a way to get the rest of the old theme!

I really want those old weapon icons.

Anybody there can tell me how to get old race skin ? since my client i 1.104 from liveservers, but i have but started on Uthgard, and would like old gfx and old look on races, so it feels better
