How do I report lag-jumping?

Because I hope it wasn't me in Wilton when I was jumping off of the top of the keep and killing albs.

Record it, would be really good some permaban for those lagjumpers.

Use fraps and tape the situations or use /callgm so that we can monitor people.
I's not an easy thing to convict someone of lagjumping. Sad truth but so it is.

Would be a community thing to segregate such people realmintern but thats too much to expect i suppose since many call it skill...-.-

sometimes I jump around a corner like in CounterStrike. is that lagjumping?


or draging my window while jumping so i can jump like 20 feet high? is that lagjumping?

it seems ridiculous to me to report any lagjumping at this time, when lags in primetime are ranging for annoying to unplayable

Question is: Why do you do that? Window dragging is not allowed, you know that (at least you should).

was just an example to get to know what lagjump is at your point of view

Ive seen lotta ppl jumping up DF stairs like that ;>

and that is not allowed reklaw

Well, just play without giving yourself an unfair advantage. I know for some ppl here winning is the one and only goal and if winning means cheating or exploiting game mechanics...well...in the end you win and you are happy.

it means I jump and then turn into the air around like a corner of a wall or around a little gap. so I can confuse the tanktrain on me or just jump out of the LOS of a caster.

no bugusing at all. just using of the game mechanics




basically it is like:

and I land here ------+

I look at it this way when it comes to cheating of any type, first thing is did you really win that battle by doing so, no because you cheated and the most important part is being that it is time consuming to level and if you are a LG crafted you lose everything. Eventually within 4 to 6 months, or maybe less, when that name has been reported more than once; it is marked and when a GM comes on and hears of this again, he will be watching and when he does that person will get caught and lose in the end and all that hard work to get him to where he is will be gone. It has happen to a high level hib character that was a good player and didn’t need to do what he was doing because he had skills as a player but yet he got greedy and continue doing so and now it is all lost. I don’t know about what any may feel about it but I sure as Hell wouldn’t want to lose or take that chance in losing what I worked so hard to do and of course I enjoy this server and playing fair. There is no fun in cheating and it spoils the surprise and fun of the game. If that is the case why bother playing here go play in Eden because you can easily create another character again and quickly.

It’s like playing a game of chess and as soon as your opponent turns the other way you switch or take his queen away. Here is another example if you cheat on an exam to get to a better college or whatever, in the end there will be a day that you must know this and if not you lose in the end. This applies to almost everything in life. Once you get in the happen of cheating or steeling etc, it will be difficult to stop and that has been proven. This is why parents when most feel it’s not so important in the end what the values that are being taught is necessary, otherwise you will live a life continuing making mistakes over and over again. This may sound like a broken record or some may say it’s a game what the hell am I talking about. Well let me explain why because in game or anything you do your characteristic portrays your personality and when someone is rude or whatever it maybe, in true nature it is what and who you are and people have always judge people by that and more. There is an old saying that people remember more about the bad things you have done then the good things that out weights the bad by a great deal.

Finally the conclusion of this is, practice in everything you do in games or in real life, so that when the time of temptation comes to you, you will be prepared to handle it the right way and if not it will follow you and of course can alter your way of life maybe for some a little but for others it can be large and hard. Are you willing to take that chance? Again I rather not and play it safe and honestly so that nothing comes back to me in the end.

Now I sound like a parent and only because I do have nephews and more in my life but the other reason is I care to see a young girl or man to do well and to be honest because it’s bad as it is when you see the news and they lie or our government who cheat and lie to us. The next generation which applies to you now are the ones who will alter this all and the coming new generation after you.


You may laugh at this post, or message but I can promise you that one day it will bit you in the as*. Be grateful it was a message reminded in case you forget.

Shame on you for using game mechanics to your advantage. Stand still and let the unskilled people kill you, duh !

For clarification:

Exploiting game mechanics = not a bad thing.

Exploiting bugs = bad thing.

Exploiting means using something to gain an advantage, therefor if you're not exploiting anything illegal it's not cheating, it means you're smarter or more capable than your opponent.
