Hey, I just download DAoC Shrouded Isles... when i downloaded the freeshard launcher i opened it and I get several errors but they dont seem to matter, but when i click on the Uthgard server to connect it shows me an error: Failed to open file: C:\ToA\Game.dll


I dont even have this directory... Sorry for the newb question but DAoC is new to me and I would really like to start playing on this server

This sounds like a configuration problem of the launcher. However, before giving you advice it would be good to know exactly which launcher you are using? There are various different freeshard launchers available. In the Download section of our homepage you'll find:

1. DAoC Free Server Launcher 2.12 currently outdated
2. DaoC-IRC 0.2 IRC add-in, never used that one myself
3. DOLLoader 1.77+ you have to edit connect.bat to supply your installation directory

You might also use other launchers, e.g. DAOC Portal.

how do i edit it to be where i installed it?

how do i edit this into the connection so this actually works :\

if you downloaded the dolloader ( http://uthgard.the-bart.org/modules.php ... etit&lid=5 ) and unzipped it to a subfolder of your game e.g c:\toa\dolloader go into that new folder and find the connect.bat there...
edit that connect bat and enter the following:
@DOLLoader "c:\toa\game.dll" 81.169.136.116 10300 20 Accountname Password

the path should lead to your game.dll

start the game with the connect.bat

Now what is wrong with this??

The Game File cant be found please edit your first parameter or something

there isnt even a game.dll in Trials of Atlantis forlder

Hmm...no game.dll

Try this: Start Camelot.exe and do a complete file check.

I got the same problem as subli

Ive downloaded the launcher at www.daoc-launcher.tk, as it says in readme...

What shall i do?

Freeshard Launcher 2.12 is outdated! Try using another launcher, e.g. DOLLoader from the Downloads section. Also see my comments in your other thread.
