Hi guys, I have a question to ask. My brother decided to play with me here at the server and I'll of course help him level up. To make a few things clear:

- I AM aware of the fact that 1 person cannot log in 2 accounts on 1 computer.

- I AM aware of the fact that PL'ing IS legit.

Here's my concern though: My brother and I share the same IP, since we're playing from the same apartment, but plays on seperate computers. Since he has decided to make either a healer or a shaman and I have a berserker how will we avoid being accused of buffbotting if he is running behind me buffing/healing me on my zerker?

and again:

playing from 1 IP is no problem as long as you NOT go LD if a GM appear to test you (like so many fools did in the past).
yes there is a test to see if you are just one lame buffbotuser or if you are a honest player with a friend.
and be sure...GM´s will watch you often.

just don't afk without being close so you can call ur brother up if staff wants to do the buffbot test (doesnt take more than 1-2 mins ive heard)

if he has to afk and cant get to computer within 1-5 mins - log him out - or both afk.. i suggest you log out as both afk can seem a bit suspicious


to sum up: don't afk and you should be fine

Out of curiosity; What is "The BuffBot Test"? Sounds so serious, lol

afaik its something about moving in squares on both toons or something

staff uses countless ways to check for buffbots

you wont see them coming you cant prepare if you have a buffbot you are doomed so better dont even try it

if i was gm, i would check the ip and see what char is linked to the alessio's account and delete it.

i am sure you just want to buff bot.

just explain me why your brother would like to play... but being afk ...that doesnt seems to be very fun.

if he just watch somebody PLing him and his XP increasing, or he is stupid, or he has to much time in his life... in both cases you can't caution that.

the best thing to do is to prevent human stupidity...so..

or he plays a toon that helps the PL with buffs, heals, etc and talk with brother for company? :p imo not so stupid

I can't believe in which regular base such threads will be created.. Try to search about this topic in our board and you will get all answers you need to play joyful on uthgard.

In addition: we know when somebody try to fool us.
