You are strafing until next position updates arives on server which is about after 1/2 sec depending on how often you turn. The /face after strafe is propably an exploit to disable that behaviour completely which is not in the sense of the devs who created the strafe miss. But one could also think that if you dont strafe at the moment of /face then its maybe correct.

I think /face just forces an immediate position update (and so the strafe flag) before the time for position update runs out.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Strafing is and ever was livelike. Back in the day in duels vs some champs it was impossible to avoid a backstun with annihilation :)

The only current bug is the out of view ****** when using face (even if the enemy is in front of you on max range with a caster or when you spam face you still got out of view.. really nice when someone attacks you on the horseroute out of stealth, you cant rupt their mezz fast enough. Hello random minstrel!)

Dont bother about this :)
Just commented about strafing, because this topic came up. But most peopel that don't know how to get a positional vs a facing enemy think they have to strafe, which is not how it's done =)
One shouldn't call it strafing, rather "run through" and that's what you do, no strafe key used at all

I didn't realize that Blue was actually talking about using the strafe keys. I supposed that is a strange mechanic (to have the combat strafe miss be over written by /face), but honestly, its not the best way to land positionals, so going after people doing it seems like a waste.

Face does not overwrite previous strafing (after last and before next hit), and still gets your next hit wasted.

Tested it on uth yesterday.
