I see... with a lvl 45, 3L1 valewalker you have so much rvr experience to talk with. Who are you trying to kid... :lol:

The defense halving mechanics for dual wield are completely unnecessary and unbalanced for the most part.

Statistics speak for themselves, dual wielding classes (7 of them) heavily outnumber all other melee classes (13 of them), greatly due to dual wielding defense halving mechanic making a huge difference. On uthgard dual wielding is the only weapon of choice if you want to play a decent dpsing class in rvr, especially for soloing, partly due to ws being bugged and mostly because reducing your opponents defenses by half just because you do is huge.
