just to support that I do not feel this is a hardware, or operating system setting problem.

I have tested my lag with with other computers in my house, I even put a hard drive in an old computer that had not run for years.
Game runs perfect and then will get lag spikes every 10-13 seconds, regardless of location in game, and regardless if I'm pvping or pveing.

Did we change server locations in the last month?
I was running perfectly at the beginning of the month.

Frame freeze, as described by the OP, should be independent of the connection. If the connection lags, then the position of entities on screen would not update correctly, but everything would still move about. As I said, I had the same issue - and other games were running just fine. New RAM fixed it, but it may well be a more complex problem.

As for you problem (lag spikes), I think Uthgard did do some changes on that end not long ago, and there have been reports from US players that are experiencing increased lag.

Its not lag, i have the same problem on Live Pendragon and all bubles are green . Its something hardware..because sometimes when i do tests late night when the freeze happneds in those 1- 2 seconds i can hear a "crrrr"sound and when character moves the sounds stops..its that sound like the hdd struggles. I l fraps the ingame freeze when I "l have time.
