Biggest bug is to use straff to cancel enemies attack by setting them [not in view] is not ok and really lame.

there is not difference, using bugstrafestyles or avoidstrafestyles

Bugstrafestyles ware no bugs because it is the same like back in the day on live. The out of view bug (when using face or stick) is indeed a bug introduced with the removal of the 0.5 delay. Very annoying but the only way to deal with it is to only use mouseturn to move your character...

Mythic implemented the strafe-miss ;)

This "fix" didnt fix anything, since only thing you have to do is to push /face in the correct moment (directly before you style). This way you can strafe as much as you want, no strafe miss at all =)

Best counter is snare / disease + quickness debuff somehow and move backwards. Cause if you wanna strafe efficient you need to time your /face + positional and this will be messed up if you hit slower / walk slower.

So /face is an exploit to hide the strafe action from the server?

Dont know if its an exploid its just how it works =)
At least when I played on live /face will stop you from fumbeling (live like) =)
But it's some time ago so I dont know how it works nowadays or if it got changed.
And I didnt try it on uthgard so far, cause i dont play a melee class =) (to play efficient you need to strafe and its so annoying to strafe for every style hence we didnt roll a melee class and just kite ;) (based on live experience))

Ps: you dont need to use any strafe key at all to land a positional, what I did was walking through the enemy to his right and to his back and while he turned pressing /face + positional. Dont know if its the best way but it worked from time to time ^^
You can also walk into the enemy and out of him backwards in another direction -> positional while he turns to you.

Strafing also Works for nonmelee classes.
E.g. do a duel with zubasa as melee char. You will loose because of his strafing that wont let you Hit him ;-)

Live like is a strafe miss. If you are able to circumvent the strafe miss by using /face its an exploit of the engine. If it was intended Mythic would have never made the strafe miss. /face disables the whole strafe miss feature on the cost of players who dont know that and seriously I wouldnt even argue about that this is a bug.

Sorry blue that's wrong. Run through /face is THE WAY everyone on live gets off positionals. It has been that way since just about the beginning. People that use actual strafe keys to land positional styles are noobs. I don't even have strafe keys within a hand reach on my keyboard cause they are a waste of space (so are the turn left and turn right keys).

I can post countless videos showing people doing this on live, its not a bug/exploit, its working as intended.

seems to me that there are 3 different arguments here.

1 - people missing positionals because an enemy is strafing (Gorim) . This is working as intended.
2 - People running through and hitting face to get positionals (Force) This is working as intended
3 - People strafing and hitting face to prevent the engine from the "you are strafing and miss" (Celteen). This is exploiting a bug in the engine and is not working as intended.

True. But I want to toss in one more thing:

Your point (3) can help avoid another bug, namely: If you strafe to get in position BEFORE you do your initial attack, then stop strafing and hit the attack/style button shortly afterwards, the server thinks you are still "strafing" (this is the same as "you are still moving and interrupt...." even if stopped moving before).

Using /face before you hit the attack button helps to avoid this (lag-related?) problem, since /face actively cancels all movement (which simply releasing the button does NOT instantly, but only after a short delay).
