Total Number of Hits: 303
Total Number of Intercepts: 235 = 77%
Total Number of NonIntercepts: 68 = 22%

In addition the Number of "intecepts in row" is totally messed up. It is almost like: If pet intercepts one hit, it will intercept the next 4-6 hits for sure. Statistical chance for that is below 12.5% but it happens all the time. The Hits with no intercept in a row on the other hand dont occur that often.
Maximum of 3 hits in a row without intercept.

Tested only swordsmen and not the highest pet!!

When blue says the lower pets have 20% chance to intercept and nestrels test is close to 20% chance NOT to intercept, maybe its a similar bug like it used to be with bladeturn back then. Just switched the propability? The big pet seems fine, but as you see in rvr, noone uses it .

These logs tell the truth. Alandrian maybe right that the intercept rate got inversed. Thats why the 50% intercept pet is fine (100-50=50). The 20% pet then would intercept at an inversed rate of 80%. I will check the code in that place.

Edit: Just checked the intercept code. Major bug there. As supposed the check is inversed.

What SHOULD be the intercept rate of sm pet in the uthgard version? Is it the 70%-80% chance from that old webpage test or is it 50%?

P.S.
To defend mids: I tried to report this few times, but they were ignored it seems. Also, most of spiritmaster I saw used the lv 32 pets, and for those pets there were no difference.

In the end I remind you: there are no "mids" or "hibs" or "albs", but only players. There are many many players switching realm because owning DF or some class became too strong

So I digged up a... fairly old thread I was reading up on the pet intercepts, and I found this thread and also a post on a test on freddy's house, unfortunately the board here won't let me post the url.
But in the FH post, they say the intercepts are dependent on how close you stand to your pet, and having it right on top of you seems to give you 70%+ intercept. They also provide combat logs to back this up.

So which one is correct? the 50% here or the one on FH?
