Server online / player count not working?

I wold guess Uthgard is on a rented server somewhere? Blue probably knows as much as we do I'd guess...
Or maybe I'm wrong and Blue is in his basement right now, testing sticks of RAM, chain smoking, and asking a friend "Why did you use up the last can of compressed air, and not buy a new one!?!?" Lol...just remembering how every LAN party growing up was like 20% Quake/CS and 80% trying to help the one friend who was inevitably having either hardware problems...or couldn't find the Local game for some software issue. "WHO HAS A WIN98 INSTALL DISK?! THE SUN IS COMING UP AND WE HAVEN'T PLAYED ONE MATCH OF DUST2!" |

Assuming that Uth runs on a rented server, It is usually the business model and responsibility of the provider to ensure swift replacement of faulty hardware and tech support. Since you're their customer, they usually don't just tell you "here boy have a sit down for 10 hours, there's a hardware issue, we can't tell you more though, keep you posted, xoxo"
But maybe it's not on a rented server? or maybe it's a small service provider somewhere? who knows :=) Also, old CS lan parties, how i don't miss those :O edit: also can anyone confirm the server stayed down after the scheduled restart? Because i think that's the case.. |

as far as i know this is the case yes, went down as a "scheduled" reboot/maintaince and didnt come up again |
