well, i don't think it was intended that Sorc had a AE-Mezz... Just ignore it...

We could do this all day, if you want it livelike, do it.

so do you want things to be like they are on live servers or not?
i'm getting confused here

just want to know so i can save myself some time for reporting things that are wrong but might be intended to be wrong by you guys

I know my statement was provoking. We will propably implement that as it was on live servers or it would land on the customized list.

How can u say i got helped?..when they actually ruined my xp! I just explained that dmg done by lvl 50 on the mob or healing the smaller lvl player who kills the mob are the only methods to ruin xp on live. Mezz/root get rps reward in PvP yet in PvE they dont aply.

Well then you can also say its no help if the high player kills your mob or heals you when you are at 5% HP. Seriously. A root of a higher player would help you in an emergency situation and you shouldnt get XP for it because of that. But as I said, I know its different on live.

Blue posted there, thus he knows about the feature, when they l set it ..they ll set it.

And a crowd control done by a player of your lvl to help you or by a lvl50 should not leech xp, unless you want to change the game fundaments.

I havent seen any rps rewards for mezzing and healing,
Just recently in DF i helped an infil who was outnumbered, i healed him, and he finally won. I didnt get anything for healing him, no rps, we were not grped.
So by doing the Good thing I got 0 rps while he got all.
If i hadent healed, he would had die and got no rps either.
I should have just smite.

i think getting RP's for healing was a good idea on live and encourages healing classes to be more beneficial in RVR. However, there should also be the inclusion of the /nohelp switch so that you can opt out of getting heals from people so you dont get leeched XP.

However, as the OP stated, i distinctly remember that i was able to disease AOE pull grey mobs onto my shaman so that a fg of lowbies could level up an area of bad aggro without the worry of adds. My Disease was not counted as damage so didnt leech XP.

It was always none damaging or HOT spells did not leech XP, and only full heals or damage did.

lol no,
if someone heals you for leeching xp, its the same as mob-hit-leeching (even mythic-support punished both behauviors)
if someone helps you in rvr and you dont want "help", its the same like the add-rule, non-existant

NOHELP COMMAND

A player can use this command to prevent situations where a player outside of his or her group is healing, for the purpose of leeching experience from a monster kill, without their consent. Players can also use this command to decline any assistance from nearby Spheres of Rejuvenation and Fonts of Power.

- If /nohelp is active, the following spells and abilities will not affect the player in any way unless the caster is a member of the player's group: All heal spells and regen buffs, the Wave of Healing artifact ability, and the Sphere of Rejuvenation and Font of Power master level abilities.

- If a player casts a heal spell on a non-consenting player, the spell will complete, but instead of the actual heal taking effect, the player will be told, "That player does not want assistance", in the upper chat window.

- Spell effects will still play over non-consenting players if heal spells, Fonts of Power or Spheres of Rejuvenation try to affect them.


It doesn't specifically mention RvR as being affected by this, so its not included.

However, it is a feature that was included for our patch level.
