Well Artefact in german drug = illegal somehow and medicine for legal stuff - at least in common word usage...

Since Codein and Opium ofc makes addicted very fast... you do not use it against any normal diarrhea... maybe in case of heavy chronical one e.g. Morbus Crohn?
There is better and less addictive ways to fight diarrhea like sugar & salt :P
