got the DL may be a stupid question but what do i acctaully do with it? just move it into current doac folder of what? can't see any application thier to install just game files

nvm i just extraced it to folder and it replaced a few files, still says on laod screen that its loading 1.108 but it worked so its all good




edit hmmm it let me in then kicked me for having the wrong version, so ye still need a roll back or info on how to use whateva i jsut downloaded

normally you just need to replace files into the daoc folder.

Ive been playing Uthgard a while now but PC crashed and i didnt have back-ups.

I have tried all methods of getting DAOC to work on Uthgard with ver 1.108 but nothing works, The first problems i had was it would say connection failed etc, now its getting to the point it lets me select my charicter but when the game loads ( full bar across the screen) it crashes my Net connection and i have to reset my pc to get the Net back.

I dont beleive anyone who says they got it working with the other patches posted across the forums for version 1.104 as these would be incorrect versions and would only corrupt the game i tried and it didnt work it just crashes each time.

Surly somone has an answer to this ? Bluraven has dropped all patch support so where on our own each time this happens on uthgard cant we get the support added much sooner ?

I'm uploading my client to a file hosting site, at 60% now. Should work better than trying to get it from my computer directly.

Somthing must of happend server side as you can now log in fine with 1.108.

I also have a problem. I updated my daoc and now it's 1.108 , I want it to be 1.103 again, but I can't find a patch that could help me downgrade 1.108 to 1.103. I already tried (http://www.mediafire.com/?spuiwdif8tri9#1,1) , but it only works on 1.107 version .

So I'm asking if anyone knows where I can downgrade 1.108 to 1.107 or where i can downgrade 1.108 to 1.103?
I would really much like to continioue playing in Uth, but can't if I can't fix this problem.

Why would you still like to downgrade? 1.108 is working on Uth.

I have a problem with the trainer window and I read elsewhere on this forum that the solution could be to downgrade from 1.108 to 1.103.

Didnt' work before, but it wasnt the versions fault I think. After I unpatched the classic patch then it worked, but well I didnt have emain etc, but then i put it on and off again couple of times and finaly Daoc is working fine again Tho I also downgraded, atfirst to 1.104 and then to 1.103

Just to let you guys know, opening certains quests with maps or journals or things you need to read will not work on uthgard in 1.108, after a downgrade it worked fine, for example, you cannot use the map to find the locations of the ire fairys to continue that quest, and you cannot do your epic lvl 15 quest i think as pally because you have to read a bandit map, wont work in 1.108, will work in 1.107.
