means that it's being used in some other process. Did you close daoc portal before double clicking the file?

so I checked my process' and didn't see anything that would be using it so I restarted my computer and tried to do it again but it gave me the same thing. When I restarted my computer I went straight to the classic.dmm and double clicked it and gave me the same error.

I uploaded newest version DAoC-portal.

try to do re-install portal and check error.

Ok now I got everything correct now and its all working and I downpatched but now when I log into the game as soon as I log in and hit 1 key and move it goes directly back to character screen how do i fix this?

I am having this same problem.. i downloaded the netfix thing and still no luck i was wondering if there coudl be another reason i woudl be getting this problem.. trying to get DAOC to work on my older laptop with Windows XP, seems to be a pain in the butt.

Hopefully everyone knows where to find DAOC Portal now The DOL site.
