Anti Stealther

Thanes are far from a joke as they are intentionally bugged on this server. Here they are on the same damage table as, for example, Champions, because the Uthgard Devs seem to think all hybrids belong to a single damage table. It's the same with Wardens. |

You ever tested this here ?
I think it's like it should be: http://www.dethguild.com/daoc/info/info ... ml#anchor8 Uthgard till 2003!

I'd say the best anti-stealther on uthgard is merc, due to bugged Dirty Tricks (100% fumble chance on uthgard), it happened to me to do 6 fumbles in a row, couldnt live up to 7th one.
So: merc, friar, bm, solo specced fulltanks (hero warri pala - high moblock etc), solo specced spiritmaster (requires high rr) Anyway dont have your expectation high, its hard to find ONE stealther here at one point (due to OF) so if you exclude 1v1 and think about 1v2 or more you should consider friar. Hope it helps. |

Yes, it's should be like that but it isn't. Didn't test it myself but there was a topic a while back where damage multipliers and such were discussed (I think some people were complaining how rangers have too high damage), and Blue (I think it was him, but one of the devs definitely) gave a link to a german site where they listed totally different damage multipliers, and all hybrids were lumped together, and said that that is what Uthgard used. |

as shadowblade the hardest things to kill for me 1v1 is friar and a bow specced ranger who knows how to kite/rf really well. that covers enemy realm, as far as mid anti stealth its thane all the way. i dont fight many thane but ive seen some thanes tearing infils and ns into small pieces quite often.

Sorry for reviving the thread, however don't see the point to make new one.
You mentioned champions as good anti-stealth class. I do have one (my main is one and recently join the server), and I much say that either I'm missing something (RA more likely) or the statement doesn't have ground. When we have SBs with Dragonmight, no matter the RR, is impossible even for fully kitted Fird Hero to stand more than 2 hits. And more likely be dead before turns to face the enemy. How a Celt Champion can do it? And that goes to the lack of body collision effect. When you pass through them (after they position themselves) you show your back. So the only way around is a ranger for Hibernia. And as for stealthers groups mentioned above, they are everywhere, especially Albion ones (due to Minstrels). |

The best anti stealther is other stealther, and in uthgard is ranger.

best anti stealth is to join/form counter stealth zerg and camp any mg

Midgard players don´t just simply play Daoc - we play Daoc to riun the game for Alb and Hib RvR is what happens while you are here complaining |

Even if some guys make lolz now, i vote for Smite Cleric!

Smite cleric only works on low rr stealthers.

Purge 3 + garotte spam + 150% chance to evade > skilled cleric. Of course it's possible to kill them when all your dumpables are up, I killed rr7 ones at 4l2, doesn't make a difference when they get into melee range and my pbaoe mez is down or resisted, pretty much dead because you can't hit a stealther on uthgard anyway (lol evaderate).
