The most RPs of all stealthers are done by Infiltrators on Uthgard at the current setup.

... and how would these numbers look divided by the number of chars? this can simply mean there are more infiltrators than any other stealther, which is probably not far from reality

look here, this is the average over the last 11 weeks on Uthgard:

When looking only at stealthclasses with more than 20 chars counted:
Infi>Nightshade>Shadowblade>Ranger

This ranking is not very meaningful

For a real clue you would have to:

* remove all players with LWRPs below maybe 500 to 1000.
* account the average weekly playtime of each class
* accounting in already archived RR as well as equipment situation

After your statistic, hib the best class choise should be a champion or enchanter. But this high reanking is not because the class is perfoming so good, but probably because a few highly active players dominate.

Infis might perform so good because of many stealth groups. Someone who want to solo might nevertheless perform better with a ranger.

He counts only chars higher 4L3 and more than 10,000 LWRPs
So I think it's quite good, but of course some players just play more than others.
Uthgard till 2003!

Ok, than at least the first point on my list can be removed :)

But the problem stays: performance of a class in RvR is highly dependent from circumstances like: activity, group situation, realm situation, relic situation, eqipment and so on.

Only chars with LWRPs >10000 are count in my statistic. Simply because it would be too much work otherwise with the method I use.

Garad wrote:* account the average weekly playtime of each class

It's simply not possible for me because the "last weeks playtime" isn't measured by the server and so not displayed in the herald.

Garad wrote:* accounting in already archived RR as well as equipment situation

I have another graph with classes' average RR in my statistics thread. Taking equipment situation into the statistic is also impossible.

Garad wrote:This ranking is meaningless.

What's missing is the information about the activity of the players. But there is no way to get that information, so the only thing I can do is taking a lot of weeks and calculating an average week from it. I think, the more weeks I take, the lesser should be the differences in players activity in that "average week".

It's not a perfect statistic, but it's better than no statistic at all, or not? ;)

Garad wrote:Infis might perform so good because of many stealth groups. Someone who want to solo might nevertheless perform better with a ranger.
Sure.
Infi>Nightshade>Shadowblade>Ranger is just saying how much LWRPs the average player of these classes did, taken from the herald data of the last 11 weeks. And the difference is not even that big. Of course, a single player can be completly different than the average player :)

from reading this thread, it would appear to me that scouts and hunters are completely irrelevant. Is that the case?

The pie chart matches exactly what youd expect.

Assassins are good. and will only get better with old RAs.

Rangers are self buffers, and so by that nature are very strong and popular. This is the very basis of VN flames such as "LOL Ranger on Classic". The power of self buffs is even greater on Uthgard where pots are near useless. As a result, they overcome the status of archery and become a powerful class here.

Hunters and scouts withotu buffs and with Uthgard archery are fodder. With the upcomming rollback to old RAs they will be worse than a thane or smite cleric.
