Rapid Fire

The three Archers now also receive a new ability called "Rapid Fire", which allows them to release their bow shot before the normal bow timer. Here's the details:

- When an Archer has this skill, at any time after halfway through their normal bow timer they can release the shot.

- If you release the shot 75% through the normal timer, the shot (if it hits) does 75% of its normal damage. If you release 50% through the timer, you do 50% of the damage, and so forth - The faster the shot, the less damage it does.

The implementation of Rapid Fire and Sureshot as you seem to be confusing the two..

nowhere does it state Rapid Fire being uninteruptable and it never was, except on Uthgard.

How am i confusing them when u see clearly how rapid fire was introduced before sure shot and was the ability that prepared the ground for sureshot ?

It states so obvious that if u release rapid fire at 75% of normal timer it does 75% dmg and if u release it at 50% trough timer it does 50% dmg and so forth ..that means u can release it at 25% release timer and do 25% dmg.. sureshot is 100% unintreruptable , rapid fire is not 100% but it can be used when beeing atacked melee if you use the fast shots or VS casters when they DD you .

If the archer is using rapid fire and releases his shot at 75%, 50% or 25% of his normal timer it's posible to shot between the atakers hits if they permit it.

I see clearly in the description of sure shot where it says it will fire when interupter but I don't see anything about rapid fire stating this. It just says it increases fire rate for reduces dmg. Why does increased fire rate equal fire while interupted?

what is prob happening is that with the half draw time with rapid fire and a faster draw bow, plus some lag, allowing a few shots to get threw with rapid fire, but still these shots are going to be at 50% dmg and 100% endurce cost.

You dont need LAG to shot with rapid fire while some1 melees you. If you got an atacker with 4 s atack speed and u do normal shot at 3s, and u r using rapid fire at 50% drawtime ofc u r going to hit with arows for 50% dmg while he s meleeing you.

WHat lvl is the scout? 17 dmg with 5.2 s speed .. its that normal shot?
You understand that we talk about archers who r able to hit fast? that means ..the higher lvl you are, the higher dexterity you have so you can shot with your bow faster,that will help you when you re using rapid fire.

I checked interrupt rates with debugmode. It was 50%. Something wrong I guess. Should work like spell cast interrupts.

Keep in mind that casters have root, stun, quick-cast, and other CC means, while pure archers have from little to none melee skills.

It also depends on the con of the mob that effects the chance to be intrupted. So if you test vs a low lvl mob, the chance to be intrupted will be lower the normal, with or without rapid. But as this all fits into the archers are too strong fix everything they suspect is wrong or at least should be weaker then it should be because its too useful for the archer, it will most likely be a mission to nerf what ever fuctions, but then again maybe a bug will be found that is good for an archer... but then will go at the bottom of the priority list.

You can not test this so called bug vs mobs, you have to do it vs players of the same lvl and consider in any possible lag that may happen, and im not talking about alot of lag, as a draw time of 3.5 is only 1.75 draw time with rapid fire, so in some situations a quick lag spike may get a shot in with rapid fire, but as i tested vs players in rvr, pulling off these rapids while being meleed isnt very effective, as you may get one shot in, but get intrup for the next 2-3 tries or more, which over all dps will be not good.
