My problem is still not solved ><

I try to play with Linux but still getting this char bug after few minute of play.
I tried to change from custom ui to atlantis ui and nothing changed.

Only way to solve this problem is to quit to select chars window and log in again, or change the font size while playng, but after some seconds that problem again^

EDIT:

I'm trying some test and I discovered an interesting thing. Since I update from ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 (I should never have done it), I have some troubles with audio, and I just discovered, opening some kind of image (like some jpeg).
I'm thinking that maybe the problem is not in wine but in ubuntu not reading correctly the images in which the characters are.

I tried to install the jpeg library again, but nothing changed atm^

reinstall ubuntu 9.04 else. dunno if the upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04 might cause problems.

I reinstalled ubuntu 9.04 and now i am able to see al those images, but I still have that damned chat bug.

not using Wine at all, but could it be that the Font that is being used by your UI is somehow not supported under Unix/wine?

I tried to log with atlantis UI and I had the same problem

Update:

I installed back ubuntu 8.10 and I have no problem at all with chat. But now I have my old problem, the really low framerate (I installed proprietary drivers and I have 3d acc on)
