someone in game told me it was set to 50%, but it shouldn't be that high because it wasn't increased to 50% proc rate until 1.90

"Cleric

- The proc rate of the cleric's RR5, Retribution of the Faithful, has been increased to 50%."

I don't have an RR5 cleric, or know anyone who does so I can't test the current rate, and for all I know it isn't 50% currently, just heard that it was and was hoping to get clarification.

Thanks.

it varies so much when I pop it, sometimes i can get the AT off me and other times i just die because it doesn't proc once in 15sec+ :grin:

I would say it looks like more to be 50% than 30% but can't really tell with randomness, sometimes it doesnt proc at all, sometimes on every hit... But even if the percentage was incorrect, valid sources about the real pre-1.90 proc rate would be required I guess, and it can't be tested on live anymore.
Anyway be happy it doesnt remove tanks stun immunities yet ^^

If you use 2 weapons then its 30% for each hand = %30 x 2 = %60. It is %30 for each weapon that strikes cleric.
This could be a bug if proved so (you will have to dig some pre-1.80 patch notes).

not 60%, but 49%... In the end your right, and scg multihit has an even higher chance to get stunned.

Because they dont add up but multiply for propability. Just think about it. If you calculate it with adding up, youll surpass 100% on 4th hit already which should be impossible :)

Oh no, its static 30% per hit each swing. It wont add up. It is 30% if you hit with 1 weapon, and 30% for each weapon if both of your weapons strike ( = 60% ).

no, actually statistics don't work that way...

For 30% and two attacks which land you've these options;

procs 1 -stunned- (30%); no procs 1 no procs 2 (49%); no procs 1 procs 2 -stunned-(21%)

leaving you with a 51% chance of being stunned assuming both attacks hit.

It is static 30% for each hit, no matter which hand hits it. Therefore you get 2x chance of getting it procced if you hit cleric with 2 weps.

If there is 30% chance to proc for 1 hand like a warior lets say..he has 30% chances to get stuned. If bersy atacks he has 30% for 1 hand..and 30% for the other hand, i d say the percentages go for each hand ..adding em up like you did its complicated and you would need more then 3 stages of probability , you say "no procs 1, procs 2 stuned 21%" if when u hited with second weap u got stuned means u had 30 % actually:P .
