I was wondering about the specifics of the rules about running mulitiple accounts under one roof....Ive been trying to get my brother(who lives with me) into DAOC over the past few weeks...however i do not want to get in any kind of trouble or be accused of running both accounts myself....I figured its better to be safe than sorry about this matter. As long as im not running both of the accounts myself i should be ok right? We like playing together and he is still learning the ropes but i think he is really starting to get it. Ill be moving out and getting my own place within the next 2 months or so , but like i said , i want to be sure im not going to get banned or anything when the both of us play at the same time. We are always on seperate computers and are even at oposite ends of the hose. We should be ok right? Thanks in advance for all of your feedback.

shouldn't be a problem though since me, my brother and my father play at the same time... all the time.

the topic was made to announce to the gms that there were 2 (or more) players using the same connection.

this thread luv is mentioning was deleted, bc too many ppl thought that its ok to run 2 instances at once, and just declare its their "bro,sis,mom,dad,grandpa,alien friend, dog,whatever".
if u want to play with ur bro, np, but be aware,that there could be a gm watching u, and also, forcing u to do some things to check if u r 2 persons for real.. (jumping in complex geometric figures etc).

so,if ur brother goes afk or so..then dont let him be the "healer-guy" who sticks you all day long while afk..

at all, do what u like. most ppl get trapped by staff,who try to abuse that stuff.
