I'm having problems with typing in my chat window. Any time I hit the shift button while I'm typing in game, my cursor jumps in front of everything I've typed. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this!

All I can say is, this is a Live Bug too. And apperas with third-party UIs too (like Derida and Catskin which i am using).

I can remember only relogging doestn help, you need to restart the whole client - do you did so?

the "shift key" bug
This is the one where pressing shift moves the cursor to the beginning of the row instead of shifting (and makes typing smilies a bit annoying )

Can be fixed by rebooting or...

pressing "home"
apparently it's caused by the computer thinking the home key is stuck down or something.


Does it work?

I'll try the home key. Restarting doesn't work because it happens every single time I log in. Also I'm not using any third party UI's so that shouldn't be a problem either.

ehrm.. maybe u pressed the insert key? press it again and test.
