Resistance calculation on style damage

I always though that damage variance from weak/resistante armor was a bit too much high.

Is it correct that the formula first calculates the total damage (meele damage+stylebonus) and then divide for the enemy Af+abs+resist?

P.S.
The target was a solo 3l champ, so no rr5, no bof, no other defensive ra, ecc..

Style dmg ISN'T calculated as a % of base dmg, or with celerity you would do the normal style dmg, instead it's a dmg per second bonus.

At the moment is:
88 style dmg+88 meele dmg = 176, all -70 for af, abs and resist
I though it should be:
88 style dmg+(88 meele dmg -40 for af,abs and resist) = 132
