i want to play on live now but whenever i try to launch the game it wont do jack ******, i double click on the .exe and it wont do anything can someone tell me what i need to change or take off to run live again

First you must register a trialaccount of one of the offical websites of mythic, after that you get your account informations and password. Than you can connect to one of the Liveserver.

Try to remember if you changed your installation in any way. In general, you should still be running a standard installation plus the additional launcher (DOLLoader, DAoC Portal, Uthgard Launcher). Any further changes should be undone.

For example, if you have Tajendi installed that should be removed before trying to connect to Live.

The only other thing you need to change is to use the regular launcher (camelot.exe) instead of the freeshard launcher. Once you do so it will ask you to start an update and you might have to download a number of files. When finished press Start Play and you'll see the Live login screen. Here you can select your Live account name (I assume that you have one because you write "to run live again") or apply for a new account.
