I am unable to play any character other than my Cabalist. When playing my cab the game freezes on every load screen, including when I /quit. If I try to create another character, or play my cleric, my game crashes immediately. I have changed nothing on my PC when this started after months without issue. I have tried restarting PC several times, as well as a complete full reinstall of daoc and uthgard client. I have tried with and without UIs.

I have attempted to PM GMs on the forums, on IRC, and in game.

Can someone please respond to me? I have also supplied Pastebin links of all of my logs to Genjiro via PMs as he requested on a similar issue found after much research on the forums.

Several GMs have even been online and went offline after hours and never responded to me at all. People have even been banned for while I have been waiting for a response.

Would love for someone to look into this. I can't play my cleric I am trying to level, the game won't let me.

I've done everything I can think of to do to make this as easy for GMs to look into as possible. Can I please get some kind of correspondence? The best I have gotten so far is a "I don't have time to help you"...

I would love to help you but the information you have provided does not make it easy.

Are your characters logged the same place?
Do you only have problems with DAoC or are other games an issue too?

A couple of ideas (may not actually help much):

If you look under C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Appdata\Roaming\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\uth2 you should find a .ini file and a .ign file for every character.
I'm not sure if the reinstallation wiped those, many do not. Might be worth tossing them out (they get remade by the game when you log back in). Just in case they're corrupted somehow.
Note: Appdata is hidden, you'll have to enable seeing hidden folders.

Also take a look at the performance monitor:
Win7: Start button, click on the text input bar at the bottom, type perfmon /rel
Win10: Open Start, do a search for Performance Monitor, and click the result
This monitor lets you know about errors, crashing software, etc. It may not help but once or twice in my time gaming, it has shown me a related program that's causing the issue.

Every other game plays without issue. Cleric is logged in lyonesse and can not be accessed.Cabalist has been all over daoc during the issue, I can still move him between zones, I just crash every single time. Id rather not post logs openly because I don't know all of the information within them. I can pm you with them trishin.

I did try deleting the appdata folders. I will try the performance monitor tonight.

i found a new symptom that may help narrow down the issue. whenever i change game options on the character select screen i crash on accept. this happens for any setting.

Since you updated your client. have the drivers been updated lately if so maybe roll back. sometimes a full shutdown with the power supply unplugged a couple minutes will do wonders. edit: be sure hibernation is turned off...

no drivers updated during the start of the issue as far as i am aware.
edit: Have updated all possible drivers now and the same problem persists.

I FOUND A SOLUTION FOR THIS!!!

You must install daoc on another computer, log into your account, and die on your cleric.

then log back in on your original PC.

If that doesn't work for you I'd reinstall DAoC and Uth.

Well, eventually, i ran into the same issue again. i may now go as far as to reinstall windows to fix this. will check back in.

Okay, so after reinstalling windows completely, i got a "1.64 injection failed" error (a new issue, separate from the first issue). I then installed "Microsoft C++ 2015 x86" and the injection error went away and i was able to play my character again! both problems fixed.
