Dear community,

I am encountering the following situation:

My wife and me will not have internet access in our flat for the next two weeks.

Fortunately our landlord allows us to share their internet access via wireless.

Because my computer does not have a wireless LAN adapter it is my wife's computer that is connected to our landlord's wireless LAN and her computer "transfers" this access to mine: I activated this function in my wife's Windows settings regarding her wireless LAN adapter.

So in short words we have the following situation:

Landlord wireless LAN ---> my wife's computer ---> my computer.

Since then whenever I hit the "Play"-button I am getting the following message:

Failed to contact authentication server

Could not connect to the authentication server. Please check your firewall settings.

(error: Ein Socketvorgang bezog sich auf ein nicht verfügbares Netz)


I already deactivated my firewall as well as my wife's but this did not make any difference.

Help would be very much appreciated!
