Greetings,

How would I go about getting an IP exception to play with my sons? I have been waiting for this server to go live and am super excited to share this game with them, since I haven't played since about 2004. But we created accounts and then realized the IP was blocked due to multiple account logins. Anything I can do to verify?

regards,

Anthony

Uthgard doesn't require any verification in advance (you may be thinking of another server?).

Here you can have multiple accounts sharing the same IP.
[NOTE] There MUST be unique players for each account. One player is not allowed to have more than 1 master account.

I think the only limit is that all ppl in same IP must play in same realm

This is good to know. My son in law (and daughter) are living with me for a short time, as they just got back home from the Army.
My son in law is downloading the game right now, as he wants to give it a shot.. My only concern is - what if a GM pops in to "question" us and it seems as he is a bot or something, as he has no idea about game commands or anything?
This probably sounds paranoid, but I really don't want to lose my account. I have put too much time into my toons.
(Obviously I won't be buffing him, etc.. or anything that makes he or I look like a bot. )

If the above info is incorrect, please let me know. Otherwise we will log in as mentioned above, and just... play.

They will check you for beeing 2physical persons by making u do some tasks which you won't be able to do while multi boxing. No worries even if they have never played a video game before, gms will explain it to them. If you can move your char you'll be able to pass the test. Since they seem to be American they ll understand what the gm needs to see.
Just make sure you are both in front of the screen while beeing logged in together. Then also buffing and helping is fine.
If you try to trick them they ll notice. Many have tried and failed. If you are 2real persons nothing will happen to you as long as both of you are actively playing.
If one needs to go afk for a while better log that char out.
