As the title indicates. I am getting that error when I try to launch Uthgard. I've selected the .exe and the patcher seems to have worked properly but I hit that roadblock. I've already tried uninstalling everything and retrying the process from step one but run into the same error. Pretty lost on how to fix this.

The patcher runs, the game and music start and a load bar appears, sometimes with a blank screen other than that error text in the top left. Other times there will be a load screen instead of a blank screen but the same thing applies.

As an additional note, I had Uthgard installed on this computer before and running great, I had to do a windows reinstall and this is me putting it back on my computer.

Any help or tips would be appreciated.

You need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6. You may be able to download it with your Windows Updater, or you can otherwise find it here: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6

You will also need to install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86

If you still keep seeing this issue, try disabling your anti-virus temporarily

from the launcher FAQ's.....

Note the x86 part as even if your system is x64 the game is not.

Massive facepalm. The failure was in accidentally downloading the x64 c++ instead of the x86. Problem fixed, runs perfectly. Thanks for the help.
