also something with createDXGIfactory2. the problem started after windows update and the alert is written in french.

If your OS or local language is not french something is wrong with your client and/or Uthgard launcher.
We will never use french messages.

I had the same problem after the recent Windows Update (the one that added the People link in the task bar) on Nov 30th. The update appeared to also update the nVidia driver. The error message encountered is in English in my case, something like "the uth.dll createDXGIFactory2 cannot find the entry point in d3d11.dll" (can't remember the exact message but close enough).

I run SweetFX.

Reinstalling the game w/o SweetFX would fix the issue. But issue resturned as soon as I placed SweetFX files in the game directory.

Googled found me this fix for anyone running SweetFX: in the DAOC directory > find and rename the dxgi.dll to dxgi.bak = problem solved.
