WHen I download the launcher, my comp says it can't run it.

When I hit play, it goes to a page that says This address wasn't understood.

I have followed all instructions, tried to install the Visuall C+ and Network thing....when I do that it says a later version can't be installed.

What version of Windows do you have? It would appear that your windows isn't allowing you to install the needed prereqs (Visual C++ and Net Framework). Or maybe it's some security package that doesn't allow you to make those changes? Until you are able to install the prereqs you wont be able to run Uthgard.

Install necessary dependencies for the Uthgard Launcher:
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 for x86 (the 64-bit version will not work since DAoC is 32-bit

I play on Windows 10. I added the Uthgard needed prereqs in addition to the versions that came with Windows 10. Check to see if you have some type of security that prevents you from adding system files?

Here are a few screen shots I took of the attempt to install the Network, hit Play, Launch, Settings, and attempt to install the launcher (which I had to download through google drive after being uploaded from a different computer) I can't download it from this computer.

Sorry, I put one screen shot twice However, it is worth mentioning, I have tried Firefox with that error, Chrome says something slightly different and Explorer, the play button does that fade and comeback thing.

Still, still can't launch due to the above reasons

You will never be able to launch Uthgard until you install the prereqs. It's up to you to determine why your windows won't allow you to install the needed version of Netframe. Maybe you need to run as admin? Maybe you need to turn off some defender package (just long enough to install)?

I get the same error after a clean installation of the latest version of Windows 10 (Creators Update).
Both the .NET and thex86 version of the C++ distro says a newer version is already installed.

Seems to me like it is due to the latest having .NET 4.7 rather than the 4.6 prereq.

You will need to install those pre reqs. They CAN be added to the newer ones already installed.

Installing all the compatible frameworks at once is possible using a software called All in One Runtimes.
It installs all the common runtimes in Windows along with different versions of .NET Framework. The only issue is that the site as well as the software are in German language, but If you use chrome it translates.
