Bonedancer archer are pointless

Good evening Uthgardarians,
as my title already said the Bonedancer archer minions are pointless. Not because of their damage output or any other stat problem but because of their weird aggro management on Uthgard. Sadly I have no live experience in this matter to compare it to so this may also be the case on live, please tell me if this is the case or not. To the point: The archer minions don't attack them self, even in aggro stance. They only attack if the Bone Master himself attacks. However the Bone Master is a melee pet with a very, very small aggro range. The only other cases are the manual attack button which makes the Bone Master charge forward into the minion, possibly aggroing even more monsters. Or the automatic defense when a monster attacks the player. Also the aggro range of the Bone Master does not include or extend with his minions. Now this is a lot of text but it doesn't really show the issues so I made a quick video (3min) to showcase them. I pulled a mob 3 times to showcase the different problems. The first pull shows the low aggro range of the Bone Master, the second pull shows the not included or extended aggro range by his minions and the third shows, well, see for yourself. ![]() [youtube]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj82hu7fF5Q[/youtube] As you can see in the video the archers are pretty much in melee range when they start firing which makes them absolutely pointless in my eyes. They should have their own aggro range, which should be bigger than the Bone Master's to accompany the fact that they are ranged minions and not melees. Please let me hear what you think, -StriKe Edit: A much bigger auto aggro range on the Bone Master would help as well, as of now it is smaller than most mobs in the game rendering the whole "Aggro" stance useless. |
