I have been playing since some days on hib with friends, there is just one big thing that could make me quit...
On official servers, we could change realm with a 5min timer (US) and 15min timer (EU)
(patched to 1hours laters, then ... become instant now)

cause i'd like to play solo as minstrel, and on hib with friends.

As i can see here, it's not possible because "blabla rvr, blabla relics" even if it was an official features.

So, if mean people can DL some programs in less than 5min and play dual realm with 1 program or 1 program and 2 computers, why "honest" people can't use and 15 years old official feature and just play almost when and where they want ?

if You allowed stream with 10min delay, why dont you just put a 10/15min delay on realm switch ? all those those rules are kinda pointless for spy in any ways.

There was no such feature back then. You could only play in one realm per server (per account).

To switch the realm on the same server, you had to delete all your characters, like it’s possible on Uthgard, too.

So the differences are:

On 1.65 Live you could join a different server, which is not possible on 1.65 Uthgard, as there is only one server.
On 1.65 Live you could create another account, which is not allowed on 1.65 Uthgard.
On 1.65 Uthgard you can switch the realm with the timer, which was not possible on 1.65 Live.

Thats the point, on official, you could (2nd account / other servers) (even with no timers (dont find any date :/ )
not here, due to paranoia & peoples think : "everyone will switch everytime the relic move in another place.

.. the fact is, imo, the large majority just wanna play some characters, instead of :
"playing some character in the same realm, all the family/friends HAVE TO play on the same realm or YOU WILL ALL GET banned for life"

that's just way too stupid, some just need to chill out.

anyone knows some others daoc server ?

Live server let you switch as much as you want. We on the other hand want you to commit to a realm and invest yourself in that realms community. If you could switch freely you would have less reason to emerge yourself in one realms community.
