I have been reading the Prima guides to pick realm / class and prep for relaunch. The guides suggest leveling 1-20 then doing battlegrounds. Are battlegrounds the same as RvR? Is this even correct, or should I just PvE until lvl 50 then RvR? Or do you PvE IN RvR battlegrounds??

I never had a max level char in live or Uthgard, so sorry if this is a noob question. Highest I had was pure PvE Paladin in the 30's before Uthgard went down, 2nd to that was an all PvE Thane in the 20's. Think I'm going Bonedancer if RvR / battleground viable or Infiltrator otherwise... though I do miss my old Cabby!

the battlegrounds are RvR zones for specific level ranges i.e. 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-35 i *believe* are the battlegrounds on uth. while there will probably be action in the bgs a lot of people will choose to bypass them and level straight to 50 so dont count on them being super active. since there is no rp off on uthgard you will cap out pretty fast anyways. you can PvE in the bgs (there are mobs to kill) but the camps tend to not be very large/high enough level. i wouldnt worry too much about getting into the bgs but if your xp group wants to take the keep for some rps or if there is good action then head in and have fun to get a break from the grind.
