Last few days from 11am central US time to about 7PM the lag makes for a unplayable game to many of us. Can't pull a mob cause cant hit it after you do. I appreciate you trying to increase the total player but at a cost of not being able to play its not worth it. Just now I was in game went LD 8 times in 3 hours last time took so long to connect to uthgard launcher I lost my place in game and am in a queue total BS yes I am ****** highly ****** . Try making the game playable for those on line add a server to each realm then one for rvr somehow GRRRRRRRRRRRRR Please help

I understand that this is frustrating, but if you've had this problem for a couple of days it's not due to our server load.
We tweak things all the time as we make changes and improvements on the server. A lot of these can be done on the fly without restrating the server. Side effects can be some occasional mobs/players flashing/reloading or pathing logic temporarily being disabled (mobs walk through walls for example instead of obeying true pathing). However what you are describing is completely different. It is more than likely congestion or some other issue somewhere on the path between you and the server. Yes, the server can cause you to LD, but unless there is a mass LD it's 99% something between you and the server causing a disruption. We are aware that there may be an issue when your packets reach Hetzner (which is strange because this doesn't affect all players). From another thread:
Here is where you can get MTR: http://winmtr.net/ I suggest you download it, figure out the basics of using it to tracert to the server (server.uthgard.net) and then use /appeal in game. IF Blue is available he may be able to log the other direction. |

this only happens when a queue starts everyday not just last few days its just been worse last few days

It isn't the queue or queueing system that are the cause of your problem Rukc. It's because the server is overloaded (combined with the ms delay you get from being so far from the server). The queue is just a symptom of a full server. |

In the last two days I have experienced some latency issues. They seem to coincide with times OP stated. I just assumed it was because devs were doing stuff in the background, but seems it's only a US problem. Osher

I had zero problems with dsync/lag until you guys messed with upping the cap over 3k the other day then all this junk hit, really sucks.
