Background is,
I've been playing since live launch, no issues other than the normal ones that were system wide. Now tonight, about 9pm CST I ld'd
from the game. While not the first, it wasn't a system wide one I don't think, sooo here is the problem.

Since then, when I attempt to log in my game hangs on the splash screen, connecting to Uthgard is in the upper left corner of
the screen and I see nothing else, I let it sit there for ten minutes, nothing changes. I check taskman and it just says it's not
responding.

I uninstalled DAoC, then I reinstalled the game fresh, through the launcher too so it was up to date. It connected to the patcher
fine with no issues and every time I attempt to run the game, the patcher seems to work properly. I cleared cache, defragmented my hdd and now I just reinstalled chrome, attempted on IE, nothing I seem to do gets it past the splashscreen. I have to utilize Taskman to close Uthgard after ctr-alt-del.


Any suggestions on what else it may be?

Any luck on fixing your issue? I get the same thing, Uthgard logo shows up for a sec after hitting the play button, then it closes for some reason.

Net framework updated, c++ for 2015 x84 bit installed, allowed for antivirus and firewall/turned off, win 10 64 bit, chrome with plugins off. Not sure what else may be doing it, tried IE too but no luck.
